Thanks to all participants of the Renesas MCU Car Rally 2019!

For the fifth time, student teams from all over Europe faced each other in an exciting competition at the embedded world trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany on 28th February 2019. This year more than 30 teams with almost 200 students and their tutors participated in the challenge. They came from universities in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Kosovo, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey and the UK.

The Renesas MCU Car Rally 2019 was a perfect opportunity for students to combine practical learning and fun! During the winter semester, participating student teams supported by their tutor or professor worked to build a self-guided model car from a kit of components supplied by Renesas. The challenge was to optimize the hardware and software that auto drives the car along the white line on the track.
