I have a board with the H8S-2345 microprocessor and for many years I programmed the flash on board using a RS232 connection in BOOT mode. I used the FDT 4.9 with protocol A. Unfortunately the RS232 port is almost disappeared on modern computer and we have serious problems with USB adapter. The program remain hang up and the communication is interrupted. This programming method is working properly if the computer has a native RS232. What can I do to bypass the problem?
