No source available for "0x0"

I'm trying to debug a very simple application using the e2 Studio and E1 debugger on the RH850. I have a simple main() that writes some data into test memory regions. After successful compilation, I run the debug session from e2 Studio. Apparently the code is successfully downloaded to the target, however after download I get this "No source available for "0x0" issue:

If I press resume after this state, the debugger keeps running. I was expecting the debugger to stop at the first breakpoint, set to main().

Anyone experienced with this issue? What can I be missing?

  • Hi Swift,

I have similar experience with my device (RL78/G14) but in my case it's (No source available for "HardwareVectors() at 0x0").

When I press the resume button, the hardware is just working fine. In your case, is it writing data to the test regions as what you are expecting?
