In RL78 datasheet it is mentioned that Sigma-Delta ADC reference is 0.8 V.
Also mentioned the maximum analog input voltage that can be given.
According to my theoretical knowledge maximum input voltage to ADC can be ADC reference voltage. If you see the snap above it shows that maximum voltage after Gain will be 0.5.Why is this?Please Correct any there is any mistake.
What specific RL78 device are you using? I'm not sure how the internal reference voltage is used in the 24-BIT ΔΣ A/D CONVERTER. However, the 0.5 voltage you've mentioned is an input voltage and it is a differential voltage ±0.500V. I guess you won't have any problem if you will just keep the input within that range and the gain to x1.
