Code show error but the build console does not

Hi all

I need your help to resolve the error I have below

the build finish with no error but the source code shows the error below. How to dismiss the under red line. I'm using S1JA-TB. The code is working.

The error is "SYMBOL R_IOPORT1 could not be resolved.

Thanks.

  • Hi Cooper-
Sometimes a similar thing happens to me when the compiler "gets ahead of itself". If you run a build again, does the error go away? Usually I have multiple errors when this happens, so if this is the only error you have it might not be the same as mine...

Indexer reports "could not be resolved." error.
It can understand the basis for C/C++ grammer only.
Compiler and Linker reports their errors to the build console.

See about Indexer at the following page.
    help.eclipse.org/.../index.jsp

    If cleaning project doesn't work,

    1. Try deleting all errors and building.

    2. Make sure all include paths are configured in the project properties.
    Check settings.
Project ==> Properties ==> C/C++ General ==> Preprocessor Include Paths, Macros, etc.

    3. Make sure Including header properly.
If you miss including dependencies in C/C++, Indexer gives up.

Thanks Warren and Tenballs for your reply.
I follow Tenballs recommend and add the new path for the S1JA header and it clears the error.
