Synergy Project - ARM compiler got updated, now my project fails to link with error: undefined reference to `std::__cxx11::basic_string

My S7 project that is build in Renesas e² studio Version: 6.2.1 and GCC 4.9.3

Another IDE needed a newer ARM toolchain, so I installed 6-2017-q2-update.

After starting Renesas e² studio, it prompted me to update the toolchain.

Now, when I build my project, I get the error:

undefined reference to `std::__cxx11::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> >::basic_string()'

The project did not change. It still uses the old toolchain.

I think the error is due to as conflict with the version of std::string between the project and the gcc library.

Does anybody have a suggestion where I can look in my project to figure out what might have gone wrong?

Thanks,

Bruce
