Where is IoTProviderConfigurator?

I've downloaded an-r20an0485eu0108-synergy-enterprise-cloud-toolbox and have uploaded renesas-iot-20Dec2017.zip to my AWS instance. Howver, I can't locate IoTProviderConfigurator.

Where is it?

I am using the AE-CLOUD1 kit.

This is the contents of the an-r20an0485eu0108-synergy-enterprise-cloud-toolbox.zip file that I expracted.

In Dashboard.zip, there are these files:

In section 6.5 of the Synergy Enterprise Cloud Toolbox - Application Project, I need the IoTProviderConfigurator.zip file, which I can't seem to fine.

thanks for any tips.

  • Hi,

Have you already found the IoTProviderConfigurator.zip file? I downloaded the an-r20an0485eu0108-synergy-enterprise-cloud-toolbox.zip file and it seems that the IoTProviderConfigurator.zip file is really missing. I will try to look for it and get back to you. Hopefully someone can give it to you also as soon as possible.

Yes, thank you. I've deployed the server on an AWS EC2 instance and have it partially working. I'm still trying to figure out how to initialize the CA certificate.

To help me to understand the process, I've gone back to the hosted SECT dashboard cloud.renesassynergy.com/.../index.html

Does the hosted dashboard work with the AE-CLOUD1 kit? How do I set that hosted SECT dashboard up to talk to my AWS IoT account? Is there a public Renesas IoT account that it's supposed to talk to?

Do I need to add my own certificates to src/certifications in the code before compiling? If so, how is that done?

You cannot have the Renesas-hosted dashboard talk to your AWS account. You need to setup your own dashboard server if you wish to use your own AWS IoT account. Please see my answer in the other thread for using your own certificates:
