R2A240 60F020 ---- This is a new product of Renesas?

I think that is the new renesas  PFC Control IC. It is probably under product test and review, therefore the datasheet will just follow later.

Although it's been a long time, I need to know the details of the chip now. The chip itself is used for battery pack BMS system on YAMAHA and Shimano E-bike, and I look forward to finding it in Japan's Renesas factory.
I'm now designing some BMS systems that have a good chance of using this chip.

i also refer to a BMS of YAMAHA. Are you sure, the chip R2A240 is from Renesas?
In my opinion it must be a kind of microcontroller. But partnumbers of Renesas microcontrollers look quite different.
Do you have more information on R2A240 to share?

R2A sounds like a customer specific device. If this is correct it is nearly impossible to get information except from Yamaha or with Yamaha's permission.

The BMS system is made up of BQ77PL900 AFE and R2A24060F020. I think this chip is a combination of the Battery Fuel (Gas) Gauge chip and a MCU, or the chip is a Renesas MCU, just using a customer specified name.
