missing path to libraries

Hello,

I have added the following  "#include <SPI.h>" to a simple program and I am getting a compile error......

#include <spi.h>
void setup() {
  // put your setup code here, to run once:

}

void loop() {
  // put your main code here, to run repeatedly:

}

output:

Arduino: E0.8.0 (Windows 7), Board: "GR-SAKURA"

sketch_jan06a.ino:1:17: fatal error: spi.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.

  This report would have more information with
  "Show verbose output during compilation"
  enabled in File > Preferences.

Oh and there is no File->Preferences. menu item either. ;-)

  • Ok,

    bonehead move on my part. It should have been SPI.h not spi.h...

    The reason I had posted this is because when I include SD.h. I get:

    Arduino: E0.8.0 (Windows 7), Board: "GR-SAKURA"

    D:\Sakura\ide4gr-E0.8.0\hardware\arduino\rx63n\libraries\SD\utility\Sd2Card.cpp:26:17: fatal error: SPI.h: No such file or directory

    #include <SPI.h>

                    ^

    compilation terminated.

     This report would have more information with

     "Show verbose output during compilation"

     enabled in File > Preferences.
