R32C118: HEW x30 download Fehler: Not enough memory

Hi,

beim Code Download des x30 Files bekomme ich unter HEW immer die Fehlermeldung "Not enough memory"???

Der Output ist mal angehängt. Bei dem Chip handelt es sich um den R5F64189 ( also den R32C 118 mit 1M ROM und 63K Ram - wenn ich mich nicht vertan habe ).

Ich verwenden den E8a Debugger zum download. Dabei hab ich den
oben genannten Typen ausgewählt und beim ROM FFF0_0000 und RAM FE00 eingestellt.

Vielleicht hat jemand von euch eine Idee was genau das Problem sein könnten?

You are getting the "Not enough memory" error because you are trying to put data somewhere where this is no memory.  There could be 2 reasons for this:

 

  1. You have your memory sections setup incorrectly.  If you are assigning memory sections to places where there is no memory then you will get this error.  Check the hardware manual for memory locations.
  2. When connecting with the E8a make sure you choose the correct device you are using.  If you have a 1MB device and select a 512kB device when setting up the E8a it will give you an error if you put memory in the locations that are not there on the 512kB part even though there really is memory there on the 1MB part.
