ARef spec. of an SH7125?

Hi all,

having searched the forums here for a solution to my issue, i didn't find anything, so here goes...

While other SH MCUs do have an ARef pin to apply an external reference voltage for the ADC, the SH7125 seems to be missing it. In addition, the block drawing for justz that SH MCU does not include the ARef pin as other MCUs do, together with Vcc and Vss. Now, what *is* the ARef value with an SH7125? Is it always Vcc? Or did i simply overlook something?

Regards, and advTHANKSance,

On this device AVcc is the reference.  For proper usage you should observe the following limits (per the HW manual)

1.  The voltage into the AD input should not exceed AVcc

2.  Vcc≤ AVcc 5.5V, AVss = Vss

If the A/D converter is not used, the AVcc and AVss pins must not be left open.
